Bouncing Musical Babies
Thursday Hadley and I went to our first Bouncing Babies session at the Library. It started with a sensory session where Hadley and the other babies were given tinfoil, cellophane, wrapping paper, and a few other papers to play with and crumple up. This was followed by a get to know you exercise where I met up with Perry and her baby Alexander. Perry was in our Pre-natal class, so that was kind of cool. (Krista and her daughter Trinity and Virginia and her daughter Viena were also there.
Singing and dancing and lots of movement made the hour pass by quickly.
Friday we attended Musical Babies at the Early Years Centre. This was also a first session and it was led by the same instructor and was basically the same only it started with a craft at the beginning. We made home-made rattles with beans inside. I decorated Hadley's with her name and squiggles on it. We used these rattles in the session that followed.
The group was pretty large and it had most of the same format as the day before.
Still it was fun to get out and jump our jiggles out. Or so the song goes.
