Babyville
This week Hadley and I started attending Babyville. It is a government sponsored group of moms that meet once a week with a registered health nurse to talk about anything we would like.
I registered for this group when Hadley was much younger but they were full. So when they called to say there was a spot opening in January I wasn't sure if I should still attend as it is for babies less than a year and I had heard that most moms got in when their babies were really young so I wasn't sure if I would be with all kinds of moms that had just had their babies or if there would be moms with older babies. It turns out that the majority of the group is in the same boat as me. They were on the waiting list. So I think the conversation should be good.
This week we talked about ground rues, we did introductions, and set topics for the next 6 weeks. (This is so the health nurse can come with related info).
I think this will be another worthwhile program.
