Christmas Tree Weekend
This weekend was our weekend to start the Christmas Tree tradition with Hadley.
We went out the Vandemeer's Nursery http://www.vandermeernursery.com/ and picked out our beautiful tree.
Although it was a little unorthodox we did get it home in our Alero. We did have part of the tree sticking out the backseat window but luckily we only live a few minutes from Vandemeer's and there were no police to be seen. (Or maybe the police just had pity on us). In any case Hadley was in her car seat and looked at the tree the whole ride home.
Once home we unwrapped the tree and let the branches fall.
It was beautiful.
Today we woke up and began decorating. We had music in the background and Hadley even helped with the lights, and decorations.
Later in the day I put in a roast, as we were having company. What a beautiful way to start the Christmas tree tradition.
