Tonight we visited Toys R Us and purchased two things for Hadley. One was a Little Tikes Piano which she played with from pretty much the time we showed it to her in the store until she went to bed. The other is a 5 way giant bead maze, which is actually a one foot by one foot block that has activities on all sides. She has played with the one at the Early Years Centre before but tonight for the first time she put forth amazing effort to stay standing beside it all on her own. Her tiny hands were grasping on exactly where they needed to be to keep her upright. Sure she hasn't yet gotten to her feet on her own, but she can stay there on her own for a while with something to hold on to.
Normally we wouldn't buy things for her so close to Christmas but this little girl's brain is hungry to learn and that requires new things to explore.

I am glad that Hadley got one of those toys I love them and they are entertaining for both little kids and big kids...Can't wait to visit!
