The weekend (GO, pictures, and Verkley visit)
I guess I will start on Friday.
Hadley and I joined the convoy of mommies on the GO train (that's right, her first GO ride) downtown to the Today's Parent Baby and Toddler Show.
We went through the many aisles and saw a lot of cool things. It was hard to keep our group of 5 mommies together so we just kind of kept to the same row.
I only bought one thing. (A taggies book - see previous note for description).
However, I did get a lot of cool FREE stuff. Hooray for free stuff!
Anyway after a few hours we stopped for lunch and headed back home.
Saturday I got about an hours worth of picture sorting done. It has been something on my mind that I wanted to get to for a while and even just getting an hours worth of it done is fulfilling. Although I can't wait to get more done.
Sunday we headed to London to see Brian's aunt, uncle and cousin. We usually see them about once a year but since we were going to be in the area we called to see if we could make a special visit.
They surprised us with gifts. Hadley is now the proud owner of a fun Minnie Mouse foam chair. (Which she loves!)
We also got a surprise gift that needs to be opened at Lisa's wedding. Oh...the suspense.
Next we headed to Strathroy. We were going to Strathroy to get together with the Verkley's as this past week would have been Grandpa Verkley's birthday so why not get together. It was a lovely time, but another late night.
I am glad Brian drove home as it was dark, rainy and I was just plain tired.
Good weekend overall though.
