Molly Maid
This was some of the best money I have spent in a while.
Earlier this week Julie (Brian's sister) came down for a visit and while we chatted and played with Hadley I also did some clean up. I did get to some much needed chores that I couldn't have gotten to otherwise, but this was not enough.
So, I placed a call into our local Molly Maid to get some help. Although I did do some tidying around the house these two ladies from Molly Maid came in to do the real work.
Within two hours they had done so much.
My kitchen had the cupboards wiped down (on the outside), the stove wiped down (on the outside), the counter tops cleaned and the floors washed. Both of my bathrooms had a good cleaning (floors included), and let me tell you I haven't seen my taps shine like that in a while. They also cleaned my front door (window), wiped down my washer and dryer, cleaned the floors in laundry room, wiped down all of the trim, dusted the hutch, and vacuumed the entire house.
It is funny how good I feel when I have a clean house.
I do my best to keep on top of the laundry, and general maintenance but I had really let a lot go. Hopefully I can keep on top of things a little better from now on.
I am inspired to get things baby proofed around here (WHICH IS A MUCH NEEDED CHORE TO BE DONE).
Now I just need some time at home with Brian.
