Halloween
Today we celebrated Hadley's first Halloween.
The day was a beautiful autumn day with leaves of every colour all around.
After playing for a while at home in the morning, we headed to the Toronto Zoo; Hadley and a few other kids were dressed up in their Halloween costumes to show the animals what this festival was all about.
When we got home we took off her Minnie Mouse costume for a while so that she could play more comfortably.
Brian got home from work early (5pm) and we headed out to trick or treat with Hadley. We went to three houses and that seemed to be enough. We went to the Legault's, the Kendall's and our neighbours (Debbie and Lambert's).
After we got back home we did have about 20 kids come by, so we got the best of both worlds. We went out and handed out candy.
I loved taking Hadley out and I loved seeing the costumes of the other kids.
Overall a success!
