Christmas Ideas for Hadley
I have been asked to put together a list of Christmas ideas for Hadley, here is what I came up with:
Books:
Brown Bear, Brown Bear by Eric Carl
M is for Maple by Michael Ulmer
Curious George Discovery Day (No author listed)
Animal Worlds by Paul Hess
Red is best by Kathy Stinson
I would also like to complete our Mr. Book collection. I will list the books she has as it is shorter than the ones she doesn't have.
Mr. Busy, Mr. Brave, Mr. Daydream, Mr. Tall, Little Miss Somersault, Little Miss Neat.
I am buying a grobag for Hadley this week in the 6-9 month size but she will need the 9-12 month and 12-18 month sizes in the future.
I have only found these larger sizes at Once Upon a Child, most places just have ones for up to 6 months.
Plush Sofa and Chair, either Winnie the Pooh or Disney Princess. I found these at Toys R Us.
Onsie extenders which can be found at http://www.bestbabygear.com/gaex.html
Large poster size laminated maps of Canada and the World. I have seen some samples of these at Business Depot, but there may be better ones out there.
Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) contributions can be made on Hadley's behalf in January just let us know if you are interested and we can give you more details.
Clothes are nice, but keep in mind the time of year that she will fit into the outfit. She has some really cute summer short outfits that people bought for her that are in a size for a 9 month old, which means that they will fit her in December. Since Winter things will be coming out, perhaps it would be best to buy her 9-12 months for this year or 18 to 24 months for next year.
For now we would like it if she did not receive any toys that have paint on them or are from China by Fisher Price or Matel.
She has a lot of stuffed animals but learning toys are great.
Other than that...be creative.
If new ideas come up, I will add them.
