Grandpa Verkley
A GREAT man whom I was privileged to know.
Monday October 15th, I received the news that Grandpa Verkley had passed on. It is sad to loose one of the happiest people I have ever known in my life.
I know he would want me to find the happiness in this situation also, (HARD TO DO), but, I am happy he is with God and with his beautiful wife Gezina again, able to watch over his entire family from above and not feel stuck in a sick and tired body.
The truth is that his spirit was a glowing spirit that shone even when you were only just thinking of him and will continue to shine as I remember him.
Unfortunately he didn't have the opportunity to meet Hadley but neither did Grandma Verkley so perhaps they both will sit at a beautiful window together and watch her grow from Heaven.
I am proud to be a member of this truly inspiring family that started from a beautiful couple that are reunited once again.
