Parkers Wedding
Yesterday Hadley and I ventured to KW to visit with John, Patti-Jo and Patrick before heading to an old friends wedding. I have known Jason for a very long time and was so happy to be able to be there for his wedding day.
The reception was good fun, but definitely a challenge as Hadley doesn't like really loud noises. So, we spent most of the evening in the hallway...but it was okay since I could see inside and hear speeches and I ended up talking with lots of people I haven't seen in a VERY long time.
I was especially happy to hook up with Krista Lambie. I was her first leader at camp when she was eight years old and she is now directing the camp. She is one of those people that you can count yourself blessed if you get to meet her.
There were lots of others that I also caught up with from my days back at First Baptist in Listowel.
By 11pm I really had to get going as I had a long drive still ahead of me. I was exhausted when I got home and to make things more fun, Hadley found it a little challenging to get back to bed once I took her out of the car seat.
Once she did fall asleep again I headed straight for my pillow.
