Assisted sitting
Hadley has been sitting on our laps and in her Bumbo for quite some time now but just the other night (August 26) she sat on her own (kind of) with just one of her tiny hands holding on to my hand. She is growing so fast.
We have noticed that she is also playing more on her own. Before she would need to be entertained all the time. Now we put her in her exersaucer and she can play in there for quite a while. (Long enough to unload and load the dishwasher). :)
She loves books and will sit on my lap and really pay attention to what I read to her. Then of course she needs to taste the book but that is a whole other story. :)

It's amazing to watch them become more and more aware of their surroundings. One more step forward (or up) brings so many new things to explore, and so many new adventures. Sometimes it's nice to sit back and watch (and that's why taking video is so great!).
