VON
Yesterday Brian, Hadley and I went to walk to support the VON. We got up WAY TOOOOOOOO EARLY and headed for Longwoods Conservation Area in Mt. Brydges, Ontario where we met up with Joshua, Phil, Doreen, Kiana and later Theresa Verkley.
We did the 5 KM hike and then headed to Poplar Hill Park for a lunch.
Kiana spent some time on the playground with Joshua, Brian took Hadley on her first outdoor swing ride and later the guys threw a football around for a while while Doreen and I chatted and played with Hadley while watching Kiana on the swings. Later under the pavilion Kiana learned to catch and kick the football.
We had a little time to spend with Phil, Doreen and Kiana at their place with Bill (grampi) before heading out as we were supposed to go visit my mom on the way home but she called to say that she was really sick. Hopefully we can visit with her soon when she is all better.
It was a great day but today I am exhausted!
