The Zoo
I have become quite the little tour guide for the Toronto Zoo even if I do say so myself. Since having a pass, I have found that there are lots of people that want to go to the zoo with me that either have never been or haven't been in years.
So within the last couple of weeks I have been three times with different people and I am now quite familiar with the outdoor exhibits in both the America's section which offers the famous polar bears, flamingo's, spider monkeys, tamarin's, marmosets and panthers, and the Africa's section which offers the giraffe's, zebra's, rhino's, hippo's, warthogs and elephants.
I have ventured into the Eurasian section but it is only mildly interesting. However I do LOVE seeing the red panda.
I haven't yet ventured into the Canadian section as I remember I went there last year when I was pregnant with Hadley and all I remember was that it was a long hike uphill both ways for not a lot of the wow factor. Although I did like to watch the beavers swim.
This year I have been to some of the indoor exhibits but I am trying to save them so I can have something new to explore in the winter months when I want to get out of the house for a walk.
