Walk and Rhyme
This morning Hadley and I tried out the walk and Rhyme session at Rotary Park through the Early Years Centre. WOW, it was HOT! But fun. I met Tanya and her daughter Jaden, and saw Christine and her daughter Hannah again.
We did warm up exercises for the parents, then walked and talked along the path by the lake and then sat in the shade to sing some songs with actions. It was a lot of fun. BUT HOT. Oh ya, I said that already. :)
I guess that is what summer is all about...getting outside and enjoying the HOT weather. :) I love it.
I am so glad to have these free resources.
I came home and gave Hadley a cool bath. She doesn't like cool water at all but her little body was radiating heat, so I had to cool her down.
She was fine after the initial shock. Kind of like us jumping in a cool pool.
Now there is an idea...I should go find a small pool for her. :)
