Vacation
This past week we were at Point Clark enjoying some time by Lake Huron. The Cole's were generous enough to allow us to take our first official vacation with Hadley at their cottage. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday the weather was perfect. We spend some time on the beach, playing darts and taking walks for ice-cream. Not to mention taking in the beautiful sunsets on the calm waters.
Thursday and Friday were in-door days as the inclement rain/thunder came roaring in. So, we spent some time reading magazines, and books by an indoor fire. We also sang and played with Hadley when she was awake. On Friday Mandy stopped by after work for a few hours as she works in Bruce county and it was very close for her. We enjoyed a beautiful steak dinner and talked the night away. Saturday the weather was fantastic. The cole's came up to the cottage mid-day; We caught up and enjoyed lunch together before they had to head out to a friends party.
While Hadley slept we enjoyed the last few hours up there before heading out.
Sunday we headed to Exeter to visit my mom and Pat. We enjoyed a nice lunch outside under the shade trees and then saw my mom's new store. It looks very cool. It was such a nice visit.
We are now home and I think I will unpack and organize things tomorrow and through-out the week.
