The Zoo
Yesterday, instead of walking around the neighbourhood, Hadley and I took advantage of our zoo pass. I must say that the Africa's section of the zoo is a little more interesting than the outside of the neighbours house. Don't get me wrong...the lake and pathways near our house provide a lovely walk. However, I am glad I have options now to mix things up.
It felt a little like we were missing someone...because we were. This was the first time (besides that time in grade four) that I went to the Toronto Zoo without Brian. :(
When we bought our pass we didn't go for the parking pass. However, I enjoyed being out quite a bit so I may buy it the next time I go. I think it is a great place to teach Hadley about animals and the outdoors, plus there is a water park there as well. And...In the winter we can walk through the indoor exhibits.
Hopefully Brian will be able to join us sometimes too.
