Aunt Julie

On Friday, Brian's sister Julie came to visit.  It was nice to have her over.  She went with me to get flowers for my pots outside, then she watched Hadley while I got some much needed chores done around the house.  Brian BBQ'd for dinner and we ate outside.
On Saturday we went for a walk around the neighbourhood checking out an entire street garage sale.  We managed to find a few good books for Hadley at the bargain price of ten cents each.  We carried on our walk all the way down to Lakeside but it was not a very clear day on the water so we didn't see much.  For lunch Julie went to meet up with her friend Ingrid at Yorkdale mall and as I know...she couldn't help herself and found a very cute little dress for Hadley.  (So nice.  Thanks Julie).
That evening we went out for dinner at the Mandarin.  I ATE WAY TOO MUCH.  But it was ooooh sooo good!
Sunday morning we headed to Mountain Equipment Coop (MEC) to find Julie a new backpack for her European trip this summer.  She also found a few other nice things to have for her trip.  We bumped into Mr. and Mrs. Shurter.
Mrs. Shurter taught me grade six and Mr. Shurter was a high school math teacher at LDSS but I didn't have him teach me.     They are heading to Peru this summer and they were there to find good hiking shoes.  One day I hope to go trek Machu Picchu also.  :)
We enjoyed hot dogs/sausages from the hot dog vendor.  MMMMNMM.  Toronto has the best street meat there is in my opinion.  Then we headed back to Ajax where Julie packed up and started her long trek back home.
That afternoon I managed to get my flowers transplanted.  I am so happy with them.  Thanks for your help/visit Julie.
