Sick and tired
It isn't just a saying. I really am sick and tired. We have had a busy few days. On Saturday we went to the Stoffer's house to celebrate Rudy's 60th birthday. It was great to catch up with people we haven't seen in a while but getting home at 1am and then having a new born to look after...well, you see where I am going with this.
Then, yesterday I went for a walk just before my mom's cousin's family come over. They brought with them a cross stitch that was hand made with Hadley's information from birth sewn into it. So nice to have. We spent most of the afternoon outside yesterday in our backyard which was also so very nice. Although the sun made Hadley sleepy even though she was shaded. Well, we paid for this later. I stayed up with her as Brian had to get some sleep before going to work today, but I eventually gave in and tagged Brian with a very awake baby at 5:30am.
Today I managed to get out for another walk and got home just before the down pour of rain. Throughout the day I did my very best to talk, sing and keep our little girl as stimulated as much as I could. Now this is no easy task with the chest cold I have acquired but hopefully she will sleep better tonight.

Only one problem...I was too tired today to do everything I did yesterday with her. I did read her three books but ended up letting her take a two hour sleep in the afternoon while I read my magazine, then I eventually joined in on her nap for half an hour.
I am thinking about going for a walk...does that count?
Last night she slept from 1:00am until 4:20am then work up at 7:45am. I can work with that!
