Groceries

Well, I am slowly getting back into the swing of normal everyday things.  Today, with the help of my mom, I ventured to the grocery store.  This is a huge deal with a baby.  First, there were no baby grocery carts available.  So, I put Hadley's car seat in one cart while my mom pushed the other cart.  I don't know if I could have done this on my own.  It was so helpful to have my mom there.  Hadley was just fed and changed before we left so she slept through most of her first grocery shopping experience, which was good.  She woke up just as we were paying.

After checking out I saw that the baby carts were now available.  They will be good once she has a little more head strength.

Once everything was into the car, Hadley let me know that it was now time for her to eat.  It is a good thing the grocery store is just two minutes from our house.

When we got home my mom brought in the groceries while I took care of Hadley's needs.

All in all it went well, but I don't know how I will do it next time; I think I will just go more often and pick up a few items instead of a full blown cart of things until I feel more comfortable.
