One week until due date - 39 weeks
Well, today I am 39 wks LMP (37 wks gestation).
I have felt the urge to clean the house from top to bottom; but I think this is because I am at home and I know that people will be in my house this month. Partially nesting (perhaps), but really I would clean anyway if I knew that many people would be coming for visits. I am so much slower at cleaning these days so my house still isn't at the standard that I would like it to be at but I will just have to accept that.
According to pregnancy.org, the baby weighs 7.25 lbs or 3288 grams and is 19.96 inches or 50.7 cm long.
I had my weekly midwife appointment yesterday and my stomach measured 38 cm, my blood pressure was 102 over 56. We met our student midwife Marissa and she seems very nice. She will be there to assist and learn while my primary midwife tends to me. (If for whatever reason my primary midwife can't be there, then my secondary midwife Lisa will be there and she has a student as well under her who also seems very nice, her name is Laura). Not much happens now at appointments as all of the major things on the checklist have been addressed. Now we just wait until the baby is ready to join us. There is one week today until the due date. (Apparently though, only 5% of babies are born on their due dates).
