November
November started out with the Blue Jays bringing the nation together. It wasn’t the outcome we hoped for but it was a great ride with Canadian pride! American League Champs!
We were fortunate to enjoy some backyard northern lights, and while they were faint, through the lens of the camera you could see greens, and reds.
I got together with my friends Barb and Margo who usually don't regularly get together but knew each other from our kids elementary school days and we enjoyed a lovely long walk through greenwood.
Easton achieved honour roll for grade 9, and while parents were not invited to watch this year as they presented in front of peers to inspire kids to also achieve this honour, we are still so very proud of him for this great achievement.
Easton also had many hockey games from the school team, to his house league team, to being called up for his select team.
I did volunteer hours with Easton at Operation Christmas Child where we sorted, boxed, scanned, and taped the donations into boxes to be shipped to less fortunate children around the world. It was so fun to volunteer together even if he was on one side of the warehouse and I was on the other depending on what needed to be done. He said he loved it and would like to do this or something like it again.
Hadley worked really hard this month as big projects required her attention.
Brian travelled for two weeks for work this month.
So this month went by fairly quick!
