Co-op, Job Fairs, Post Secondary thoughts, Kendall's 50th Birthday
Sometimes life is crazy busy and the last few weeks have been just that.
Hadley has been busy with co-op at Digi Pix where she is getting experience with web design and social media posts, job fairs, and visiting post secondary schools to begin thinking about where she might apply in the fall.
While she is not quite decided, it has been a great experience to get a feel for what post secondary life might look like. This mama heart is not quite ready, and neither is the high schoolers heart, so it is good that we have another year to wrap our hearts and minds around her growing up.
Co-op is giving Hadley a first look at what a job might look like and now she is beginning to think about what a summer paid position might be like. She has attended two career fairs but they were not really all that useful, so she is starting to think about other options. We will see what happens.
Brian's friend (and mine) Andrew Kendall from when he worked at Bell and we first moved to North York recently turned 50 and there was a big party for him at a local pub in Markham. We enjoyed an adult night out with some old friends. It is so nice to celebrate and enjoy milestones.
