Dad's 65th Birthday
While there was no pomp and circumstance, we did venture out to my dad's house, the first visit to someone else's house in two years to celebrate quietly with Brenda, my brother and my dad at his house. I found a photo of my dad with Hadley at his 50th, she was just a few weeks old, and now she is 15, so it was nice to put those milestones together.
It was so nice to see them. It has been about two years and really we just jumped back in where we left off.
The first five minutes felt odd, but then we were in our comfort zone.
While we brought cake and gifts for my dad, my dad had a few gifts for us for Christmas. So that was fun.
I hope that Covid continues to become more and more mild and life planning continues to get easier.
It was nice to venture out.
