Halloween
This year was a little different again for Halloween. Some felt comfortable going out, we aren't there yet as Easton still isn't vaccinated. So, today I set up a balloon pumpkin patch for the kids. With each balloon pop, they would find a paper inside with either candy, chocolate bar, or chips marked inside. We also did a treasure hunt around the house. It was a little effort, but the kids appreciated it.
They have so much candy!
Hadley dressed up this year as an elf. She made an amazing little video that was featured on her school's instagram. Easton was Harry Potter. We just finished watching all the movies a few weeks ago. Both kids rocked their costumes! They looked awesome!
While it wasn't the same this year, we still had fun. I think it is super important to keep recognizing things like Halloween and other things that come up in the calendar. Both kids agreed that the day was different, but still good. This year we carved a jack-o-lantern with a classic face.
I can't believe tomorrow is November.
