Italy Weekend January 16th
This weekend we decided to do a staycation in Italy. We hung Italian flags
up to decorate, we had breakfast cornetto (Italian croissants, with lady
fingers and biscuits on red white and green plates. Lunch was a Tuscan
salmon with penne and bruschetta, it was so good! We played a new board
game that we ordered online called Viticulture. Basically the idea is to
run a vineyard. It was a bit tricky at first but by they end, it was a new
favourite.
Hadley and I attempted to make cannolis. I am not sure we nailed this
recipe, but we tried. Easton and Brian made mini pizza bites for dinner
and we had sea salted caramel gelato for dessert. We also learned a new
card game called Scopa, and spent many hours this weekend playing Minecraft
building a Colosseum with efforts from all of us.
