Happy New Year!
For New Year's Brian and I decided to start our evening off with a dinner at the Red Violin on the Danforth in Toronto. This was a Brazilian style restaurant where they bring out meat on skewers one after another for you to taste. THERE WAS A LOT of different kinds and a lot of good meat! For your $50 per plate there was also an all you can eat salad bar. We ate so much! In fact, we really haven't had to each much at all today.
After dinner last night we headed over to the Duncan's where we talked the night away, toasted with Dick Clark and then talked some more until just after 4am when I drove us home. We had a great time and finally found our bed at about 5am! Today has been ultra low key with football on in the background. We unfortunately slept through the Rose Bowl parade though. Oh well. Happy New Year everyone!
