Midwife appointment

Today I took the day off work to go to a midwife appointment.  Usually I can schedule them to be after work but today was at 12:45pm.  It seems the times are getting harder to schedule.  In any case, everything was normal.  Although this is the first time that my stomach didn't grow with the weeks that I am.  I am 28 cm and 29 weeks.  Still, she said that was normal, as was the heart rate.

According to pregnancy.org the baby weighs 2.54 lbs or 1153 grams and is 15.2 inches or 38.6 cm long.

Today I was exceptionally emotional.  Hormones I guess.

On New Years Eve I will officially enter my third trimester.  It is getting closer now.  January will be the time to really focus on preparing the baby room.

I love the baby. The baby loves me too. So much so that it won't kick me. I tried to convince it but the baby was like; "No I could never kick you". I mean it was in silent baby talk, but I understood.

No baby has ever kicked me before but as soon as I put my hand on Leanne it hoofed me right in the hand! I think it was trying to give me a high 5 !
