Christmas # 2 & 3
Today started out with a family gathering on my mom's side. AKA Christmas #2. We met up in Exeter, had a number of goodies to snack on including fudge that was made with my grandma's famous recipe, and a cousin gift exchange. Bring a gift, get a gift. Then there was a fabulous meal. Lot's of baby talk. Everyone wanted to feel the baby kick but it seemed to only kick when people were leaving it alone.
Sadly, this night ended early. We had to leave before everyone else, which is not usually like us, but we had Christmas #3 to go to. We got to the Verkley extended Christmas at 8pm. They had all just finished dinner at Angie's Kitchen in St. Agetha. So we visited for about 2 minutes before we all headed back to Brian's dad's house in Kitchener. Here is where we actually had some quality time to catch up with people. We shared our recent photo albums, and talked the night away. We left just after midnight. It is almost 2 am. I am surprisingly wide awake, but I know I should go to bed. So...Happy Christmas Eve everyone!
