Christmas Tree
I love decorating the the tree. It means lots of Christmas music, smiles all around and pretty lights! It is so much fun to hang up decorations that I made when I was five. The garland is finally hung on the staircase, the bows are up, and the mistletoe is placed appropriately before the entrance to the kitchen! :) We know it is late to do this, but we have been so busy and time just kept flying by. But now it really feels like Christmas!
Also, on a happy note we got our camera back from Nikon today. Our camera wasn't working properly so we sent it in to have it fixed and it turned out to be a problem that has happened to a lot of people. (The green flashing light of death, so they call it). Symptoms of failure are a constant blinking green Compact Flash card access light and the camera does not perform any operation. The camera basically dies and does not perform any operation. The nice part is that it was free to have it fixed, but the questionable part was that we weren't sure we would have it back in time for Christmas. However, I am happy to report that we got it back just in time to capture tree decorating in the Verkley household. I am also happy to have it back for this weekend and all of our Christmas festivities. :)
