This past weekend we spent some time cleaning out one of our spare bedrooms. WOW, there is a lot in there, and lots more work to do in the coming weeks. This job is harder than you might think because as we started going through every little bit of paper that had a tiny bit of nostalgia related to it we had to ponder over whether or not it would stay or go. After a few hours of this, I got together with my cousin Megan for dinner and a good chat. It was good to get out of the house.
Later that night Brian and I headed to Lindsay and Jamie's to catch up with them to find out about their honeymoon now that they are back. Somehow just hearing about a vacation in the sun makes you want to enjoy such an event yourself.
Sunday we had Brian's dad come to our house. We received a phone call from him on Saturday asking us if we wanted a hutch that was in his grandma's place. Of course we wouldn't turn it down. We were just lucky enough to have it delivered right to our door! In turn we offered a nice dutch lunch to our delivery man and enjoyed the afternoon over some pretzels and football. Lisa I even used your coffee maker for the first time!

You got a hutch? wow you are all grown up, and you get something from grandma and grandpa's place, and the Canada table, spoiled much? Guess it is because you live closer than me. Hmm I have to move closer than you for next year haha
