Well let's start with what I was doing a year ago on this date. Brian and I reached the summit of Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa! What an amazing accomplishment. After the climb I said...no way would I do that again. I have done it. It can officially be marked as complete! Now, I miss the adventure, the hardwork and the satisfaction that such a thing provides in your life. I might go back some day. :)
Although to note, this feat could not have been completed without the help and support of our guides, fellow climbers, cooks, porters, and of course the encouragement of our family and friends back home.
One year later, my best friend Lindsay, married her other best friend Jamie! The wedding was beautiful. I am tired, but it was all worth it. I love them both and wish them nothing but complete happiness and prosperity!
Who knows what next year will bring?
